What is the Rootology Microneedle Infusion System?

It's an at-home system that pairs an ultra-fine 0.5mm microneedle applicator with a concentrated botanical serum. The microneedle opens micro-channels in the scalp so the serum reaches the root, where thinning starts.

How does it work?

The 0.5mm applicator creates hundreds of microscopic channels that wake up dormant follicles, boost blood flow to the roots, and drive the serum deep into the scalp, instead of letting it sit on the surface and wash away.

Does it hurt?

No. The needles are ultra-fine and only reach the upper layer of the scalp. Most people describe it as a light tapping, with no pain, no bleeding, and no marks.

How often do I use it?

Microneedle once a week, which gives your scalp time to recover between sessions. On the days in between, apply the serum on its own as a leave-in. Consistency is everything.

How do I use it?

Start with clean, dry hair. Load a vial, gently stamp the applicator over your thinning areas for about 60 seconds, and let it absorb. Skip washing your hair for an hour afterward. That's it.

How long until I see results?

Hair grows on its own timeline. Many women notice less shedding and a healthier scalp within the first few weeks, with visible fullness building over 3 to 6 months of consistent use. Your 120-day guarantee is designed to cover that window.

Will it work if I've tried everything else?

Most likely, as long as there are still fine or "baby" hairs in your thinning areas, which means the follicles are active, just weakened. This works at the root, where growth begins, instead of sitting on the surface like the serums that didn't work for you.

Can I use it with minoxidil or my current routine?

Yes. The microneedle actually helps whatever you apply absorb deeper, so it pairs well with your existing serum, minoxidil, or shampoo. If you're on a prescription treatment, check with your doctor first.

Is it just for women?

It's formulated with women in mind, for thinning at the part, temples, and crown, including changes from stress, perimenopause, postpartum, or rapid weight loss. It works on all hair types and can be used by men too.

Is it suitable for all hair types?

Yes, straight, wavy, curly, coarse, or fine. The applicator works on the scalp, not the hair shaft, so it adapts to your hair.

Is it safe? Are there side effects?

It's designed to be gentle and non-invasive. Use only on a clean, healthy scalp and avoid broken, irritated, or infected skin. As with any new scalp routine, patch-test first and check with your doctor if you have a scalp condition, are pregnant, or are nursing.

Do the needles leave marks or scars?

No. At 0.5mm they're designed to be painless and leave no marks, redness, or scarring.

Will I lose my results if I stop?

Hair responds to consistency, so ongoing use helps maintain and build results. If your thinning is hormonal or genetic, keeping up a routine is important, so talk to your doctor about a long-term plan.

Can I use it on a sensitive scalp?

Yes. The ultra-fine 0.5mm needles are designed for gentle, painless use, and the serum is made without harsh, stripping ingredients. If your scalp is on the sensitive side, we recommend a quick patch test on a small area first, and always avoid using it on broken, irritated, or sunburned skin. If you have a diagnosed scalp condition, check with your doctor before starting.
